AUSCHWITZ GUIDED TOURS

Auschwitz and Auschwitz Birkenau are the most well known cemeteries in the world and places of genocide. Have became the symbols of terror and the Holocaust.

They were established by the Nazis in 1940, in the suburbs of Oswiecim and started in 1940 as a concentration camp for polish political prisoners, in 1942 it became and 1942 it became the centre for extermination of European Jews. In the years 1940 - 1945 the Nazis killed about 1,5 million people mainly Poles, Jews, Gypsies and other nationalities. A Museum was set up here in 1947 and in 1979 UNESCO inscribed Auschwitz Birkenau on the World Heritage List.

SALT MINE GUIDED TOURS

Wieliczka Salt Mine, a Material Culture World Heritage site, is one of the most eagerly visited tourist sites in Poland. Several hundreds of years of rock salt exploitation have shaped the spatial arrangement of its excavated structure.

Lying on nine levels, concealed under the town, the mine reaches down to the depth of 327 meters. Subterranean Wieliczka consists of nearly 300 kilometers of corridors and almost 3,000 chambers. The two kilometer - long tour takes you to:

- Accessible sections located from 64 to 135 meters below ground level.

- Unique chambers with visible traces if actual exploitation preserved, with a collection of mining machines and equipment.

- Chapels with unique salt sculpture and bas-relievs: with the world's most beautiful Chapel of St King situated 101 meters under the ground.

- Salt lakes

Zakopane is a place of Góral culture and informally known as "the winter capital of Poland," lies in the in southern Poland at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, the only alpine mountain range in the Carpathian Mountains.

It attracts tourists not only because of its fascinating culture and wooden architecture, but also because of its beautiful trails, sparkling lakes with crystal clean water, cascading waterfalls and mysterious caves.

There are loads of things to see in Zakopane except medieval churches and majestic mountain view such as Old Town, ancient cemetery, the Tatra Museum, "Atma" Chalet, Papal Sanctuary and Jaszczórówka chapel.

JOHN PAUL II ROUTE

Łagiewniki - Sanctuary of Devine Mercy with the relics of the third saint of the Third Millennium - St. Faustyna Kowalska canonized by John Paul II.
