Chimera is both a restaurant (located in the cellars at the corner of sw. Anny St and the Main Square) and a salad bar (in the cellars and a backyard garden in the middle of sw. Anny St.).

The spacious salad bar serves over 40 kinds of salads, hot vegetarian dishes, home made cakes as well as fresh fruit and vegetable juices. During the summer season Chimera offers a charming backyard garden, where at the candle light and soothing music one can enjoy fresh salads, juices and milk coctails.

Chimera restaurant serves sophisticated Old Polish cuisine, including game dishes as well as Old Polish fruit liqueurs and meads. You can try roasted duck, goose, pork and even crayfish. The restaurant also offers home made delicacies such as pates, cured meat and cheeses as well as a selection of Hungarian, Moravian and Slovenian wines.

Deep in its underground cellar you’ll find three chamber halls decorated in a classic and comfortable style, as well as a Swedish-buffet-style banquet for up to 300 people. The cellars can be booked for special occasions such as wedding receptions or reunions. On request, Chimera can even organize live performances of some of Krakow’s finest musicians to accompany your dining experience.
